Dear friends of Kezmarok, lovers of history, culture and folk traditions, dear enthusiasts of summer festivals!

For the 29nd time you are invited to our historic town underneath the High Tatras Mountain Range, the town, which in 2019 year celebrated 750th anniversary of receiving its township rights.

Traditionally, during the second weekend in July, the first and the largest festival of its kind in Europe – known as The European Folk and Crafts Festival – will be held here.

See you in Kezmarok 12th

Plentiful three day programme in the historic centre of Kezmarok has customary become a meeting opportunity not only for craftsmen, fencers, domestic and foreign folk groups, but also for actors, lovers of classical and pop music, hawkers, special guests as well as people living locally or further away, those coming to the festival every year or those coming for the first time.

Their aim is to find in one place what both present and past generations can be proud of or what is today just a memory of former glory of our ancestors.

Come, join us and feel the atmosphere of this outstanding event! Bring your family, friends and children.

Let’s together appreciate what we can all be proud of!
